What to Bring? How do we come prepared?
Your children should have a coast guard approved life jacket. Come with sunscreen on. A water bottle is good to have, we have a jug of water for refills. Other than that it is up to the family and child for other items like hats, sunglasses, water shoes and towels.

Where are the youth sailing programs held?
All youth sailing activities are hosted by the Missouri Yacht Club (MYC) at 71 M street.

Do we stay with our children during the program?
On Thursdays, parents or guardians (grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters or nannys) should stay for the program.

How much does the program cost?
While the cost is subject to change the cost per child is $80 for the 2026 sailing season. This cost includes weekly opportunity for sailing instruction and sailing, along with a participation gift.

Are boats available? or do we need to bring a boat?
The Missouri Yacht Club graciously provides three types of sailboats for our youth sailing programs. We have 16 Optimist dinghies, seven Club 420's and two Lasers for our youth to grow and develop as sailors.
